Hello!

I’m Shantanu Kulkarny, a cybersecurity consultant by profession, trying to find balance in life through art, music, writing and reading. I’m also a proud father and a ridiculously lucky husband.

Professionally, I’m passionate about building a culture of security and privacy on the web. As the boundaries between our online and physical lives have blurred, our sense of privacy and security have quietly eroded. I believe cybersecurity shouldn’t just be for corporates but also for us individuals.

I enjoy painting, having recently turned a childhood pastime into an amateur hobby. I especially like the fluidity and freshness of watercolours, but I’ve also started enjoying the process of painting in the oil medium. Painting is pure joy for me, and is a reminder that life is not all perfection and science and that beauty often comes from flow.
