What I’m doing now #

I’m living in Ipswich, UK. The weather’s been uncharacteristically sunnier than usual at this time of the year. Taking advantage of this by catching up on some garden work and taking care of the plants.

📖 Learning #

• I recently learned that aphids (tiny little green bugs), which tend to inflict our roses in multitudes, are better controlled by introducing ladybugs in the garden. This promotes a healthy ecosystem in your garden.
• I also learned that ants love aphids, and help them by protecting them. This is because aphids apparently help secrete some syrup-y substance that’s yum for ants. There’s a war going on in my garden, and the aphids have strong alliances. I’m now on a tactical mission to go for walks in the woods and collect ladybugs in tiny bottles, to form the Alliance of Roses. Which side are you on?
• I’m now learning Kubernetes by watching TechWorld with Nana’s immensely helpful tutorial. I need this because I am planning to have better resilience for my core docker containers on my homelab.
